Marble and stone – Shot blasting, engraving and ageing
ASBHOT has extensive experience in this field and is present on a great of the companies in the sector with manual and automatic equipment.
Sandblasting is used for surface preparation of boards in funerary art, marking of tombstones, inscriptions on boards by sandblasting and engraving of shower trays. With this treatment we also achieve that treated stone and marble become non-slip surface. This is used for cleaning limestone, too.
The shot blasting equipment is used to treat natural and artificial stone in engraving or ageing operations, replacing the traditional processes of bush hammering or flaming. The equipment is designed to treat a wide variety of materials: tiles, slabs, panels, paving stones, etc.
ABSHOT supplies a wide variety of abrasives: all types of corundum grains, metal grit, stainless steel grit, glass microspheres, etc.
ABSHOT has a great variety of models of portable sandblasters perfect for stone treatment.
These portable sandblasters are usually used in a wide variety of jobs. The smaller ones are used for small restoration or touch-up works, and the sandblasters with larger tanks are used in blasting rooms or in outdoor works for the treatment of large surfaces, shot-blasting of structures, cleaning of facades, etc.
ABSHOT. we are manufacturers of dry, suction or venturi and pressure blasting equipment, with more than 40 years of experience in surface treatment and more than 1,000 manufactured installations.
